Assistant Director

As assistant director your job is to help lead the project in the right direction and work alongside myself to manage and direct the cast and crew. Since I will be a part of the cast in the film, along with directing, I'll need the most support in running the set and communicating between each department.

Cinematographer
​
Did you know that most found footage films are shot by the cinematographer and not the actor? It's true, some shots will have the actor filming themselves talking to the camera but most of the shots are shot by a professional cinematographer who understands the vision of the film. If you are a master at camera work, this is the position for you!

Costume Designer
​
If you are passionate about thrifting, putting together wardrobes, or making clothes, than this is the position for you! I'm looking for someone to put together the most accurate clothing from the 80s that teenagers would wear.

Makeup and Hair Artist
​
80s hair is big, full, and fun! If you have a knack for styling hair and doing makeup, Kill Screen is the perfect avenue for you to show off your creative work. Your job as the makeup and hair artist is to emulate authentic 80s hair and makeup before each shoot!

Props Master
​
Is it your dream to make the gnarliest body horror effects? DREAM NO MORE! NOW IS YOUR CHANCE! We need dead bodies, blood, and even a special cryptid monster that will be revealed after the cast and crew list is released!

Lighting
​
"DO YOU SEE THE LIGHT?!"

Without good lighting, the film won't be nearly as cinematic as depicted. As the lighting master, your job is to create depth and composition to each shot.

Audio Design
​
We can't have an 80s horror film without cheesy sound effects, hair metal music, the bleeps, sweeps, and creeps. If you love creating different sounds for cinema, this is a perfect
opportunity to show off your talent.

Editor
​
so you're a post productions kind of guy/gal? Not a problem! I'm looking for someone to work along side with to help bring my vision into a reality. If you are a master at editing horror and found footage, than this role is for you!
